• When will you begin releasing registrations from your wait pool?

    Registrations will be released on a very limited basis in August, with the bulk of registrations released by September 11, 2017. We regret any inconvenience for the tight timeline to arrange your travel.

  • What are the criteria used to accept applications?

    There are a limited number of open registration spots available each year, which are granted via an application process. Once applications have been submitted, the ChIPs team looks at a number of factors for eligibility, including:

     

    • diversity of background;
    • level of involvement in ChIPs leadership;
    • volunteering, either for ChIPs or other organizations;
    • leading ChIPs committee or chapter initiatives;
    • and member’s career level (more senior members are tracked to the ChIPs Global Summit; emerging leaders are tracked to the ChIPs Next Gen Summit).

     

    In addition to the factors above, a portion of seats are allocated to sponsors, as the Global Summit is ChIPs’ one major fundraising effort. Likewise, sponsors register via an application process.

     

    Knowing that the Summit has gained a great deal of interest over the last years, we have made a concerted effort to make the Next Gen Summit as stellar an event for our emerging leaders. We are delighted that additional space has been made available with the generosity of Sidley Austin LLP. We’re very proud of Next Gen’s agenda and speakers and are confident its content will be of tremendous value to ChIPsters establishing their careers.

  • Can I update or modify attendee information?

    If you need to update or modify attendee registration information you may do so up until October 2, 2017. For instructions on how to modify or update attendee registration information in Eventbrite click here.

  • Can I cancel my registration?

    All sales are final and cannot be canceled or refunded. You may substitute a new attendee up until October 2, 2017 if you are not able to attend.

  • When will the agenda be published?

    Check out our high-level Summit Global Agenda for a quick glance on what’s happening each day. A list of confirmed speakers can be found here. We are updating this site regularly so please continue to check back for up-to-date information.

  • When are speaker materials due?

    Speaker bios, head shots and waivers are due by September 11, 2017.  Speaker presentation materials including PowerPoint files and audio/video files are due October 2, 2017.  For questions about speaker deadlines and deliverables contact speakers@chipsnetwork.org.

  • Do you have a special room rate at the Mandarin Oriental for attendees?

    Our room block for registered 2017 Summit attendees at the Mandarin Oriental is sold out. You can still book at the Mandarin Oriental but standard room rates will apply.
