Carol W. Carroll – Deputy Center Director, NASA Ames Research Center
Carol W. Carroll is the deputy center director at NASA’s Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley, where she collaborates with the center director to guide research in aeronautics, science, and exploration technologies that support aeronautics and space missions for NASA and the nation. During her more than 22 years with NASA, she’s served in a variety of engineering and management positions. Carol earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech and completed the Senior Executive Fellows program at the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government. She’s received numerous honors including the Presidential Rank Award for Meritorious Service.
